Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is one of the recognized plant species that considered most traditional natural supplements. Tissue culture an efficient method as fast and affordable in propagation. Few studies have discussed genetic impact such on ashwagandha plant. The aim this research was to identify stability micropropagated plantlets assess vitro-propagation somaclonal variability using start codon-targeted (SCoT), sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) DNA-barcoding assays. SCoT marker assay produced a total number 132 bands with average 11 per primer, where scorable PCR fragments were generated from all primers. phylogenetic tree constructed binary data, revealed among studied samples. SRAP primer combinations showed 78 by 11.1 / combination, which scored fragments. Over assay, specific band obtained present different samples compared control (mother plant). This me1F/em1R combination (287 bp). data successful differentiate between micro-propagated plants control.
